Covarity Named a Top 15 Employer in Waterloo Area

Covarity, Inc has been selected as one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for 2011. Covarity was chosen based on information taken from an application and on research performed by the competition’s editors. Applicants are evaluated by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers using the same eight criteria as the national competition:

1) physical workplace;
2) work atmosphere and social;
3) health, financial and family benefits;
4) vacation & time-off;
5) employee communications;
6) performance management;
7) training & skills development; and
8) community involvement.

Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.

The announcement was featured in the November 6th Waterloo Region Record (Part 1; Part 2) and specific reasons for Covarity’s inclusion on the Top 15 list are given on the job-search engine eluta.ca.

Background

Now entering its fifth year, Waterloo Area’s Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. This special designation recognizes the employers in the Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph area that lead their industries in offerings exceptional places to work.
